What size tube for my bath bomb?
Bath bombs are round, so the tube only needs to be slightly bigger than the bomb. Measure yours, then pick a tube size from the table.
| Your bath bomb | Typical diameter | Suggested tube (Diameter × Length) |
|---|---|---|
| Small / mini | 1.5–2 in (40–50 mm) | 2.25 × 2.25 in |
| Standard | 2.5–3 in (65–75 mm) | 3.25 × 3.25 in |
| Large | 3.5–4 in (90–100 mm) | 4.25 × 4.25 in |
| 2 standard bombs, stacked | Standard size | 3.25 × 6.5 in |
- Add about ¼ in (6 mm) to the diameter, so the bomb slides in without rattling.
- Add a little more if your bombs are shrink-wrapped or wrapped in tissue.
- Bombs with dried flowers or bumpy tops need a bit more room.
- Not sure? Send us your bath bomb's measurements and we will suggest a size, free.
Bath bombs are fragile and react to moisture, so we recommend wrapping them first, or choosing packaging with a wrapper or liner.

Technical Specs: Custom Cardboard Tubes
An outline of the common custom features available for cardboard tubes.
Materials
Cardboard tubes are made with at least 50% recycled materials and come in different thickness levels depending on the tube size, typically 800–1500gsm.
| White | High-quality printing results from using Solid Bleached Sulfate (SBS) paper. |
|---|---|
| Brown kraft | Unbleached brown paper, perfect for black or white printing only. |
Printing
Each package is printed with soy-based ink, an eco-friendly option that results in notably brighter and more vivid colors.
| CMYK | CMYK stands as the most common and budget-friendly color scheme in printing. |
|---|---|
| Pantone | For accurate brand colors to be printed and is more luxury than CMYK. |
Coating
To keep your printed designs safe, a special coating is added that prevents scratches and scuffs.
| Varnish | A water-based coating that’s environmentally friendly, though not as protective as lamination. |
|---|---|
| Lamination | While a plastic coated layer offers protection against cracks and tears, it is not an eco-friendly option. |
Finishes
Add the final touch to your packaging with a finishing option that enhances your overall package.
| Matte | Featuring a smooth and non-reflective surface, this design provides an overall softer look. |
|---|---|
| Glossy | Glossy and reflective, this surface tends to highlight fingerprints more. |
| Satin | Semi-glossy, striking a balance between a matte and glossy appearance. |
| Soft touch | Resembles a matte finish in appearance, yet has a luxurious velvet-like texture to the touch. |
